Welcome to Cherokee Creek Boys School
— Therapeutic Boarding School for Boys —
Cherokee Creek Boys School is a premier therapeutic boarding school for 10- to 15-year old boys in grades 5 –10. We “challenge boys and their families to discover what is real and true about themselves and the world around them.” We help our students and their families rediscover a sense of hope and optimism for their future.
The Cherokee Creek Difference … Our Story
We are a small (40 students), family-owned, nationally-accredited school on a beautiful campus at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina.
We are proud that we’ve been helping boys and families for over 20 years by focusing on a combination of academics, character development, social interaction … and creating “a place where boys can be boys.”
Our Program | Our Approach
We approach learning and personal growth from a strengths-based perspective by focusing on each student’s strengths, gifts and talents. Our program combines an academic curriculum, therapy, emotional growth support and opportunities for social growth and interaction.
Picture a place where a therapeutic boarding school meets summer camp! This combination helps boys build confidence, grow, thrive and have fun!
We Focus on the FAMILY!
Our Family Center supports and focuses on the entire family. We strive to help the family rebuild relationships, heal and grow together … through family seminars, activities, retreats and outdoor adventures. Our goal from day one is to prepare the student to return to home.
We believe we are all in this together!
