Cherokee Creek Boys School

Our Students

At Cherokee Creek Boys School, many students have been either diagnosed with or are challenged with, attention deficit disorder, depression, attachment issues, and/or oppositional defiant behavior. Other boys have learning disabilities or learning style differences that make traditional schools a frustrating source of failure.

By the time boys reach Cherokee Creek, family relationships are often strained and the home environment may be in chaos.  Many of our students are unaware, unwilling or incapable of recognizing the negative impact that their actions have on themselves, their families and those around them.

Many students come to us with some or a combination of the following challenges:

This path of discovery leads boys to  develop:

  • Academic success
  • Self-esteem and confidence
  • Motivation
  • Responsibility and accountability
  • Social skills
  • Strong and respectful relationships with parents and other authority figures
  • Healthy relationships with siblings and peers
  • Appropriate outlets for expressing feelings
  • Anger management skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Problem solving skills

“Remember that you are unique.
If that is not fulfilled, then something
wonderful has been lost.”
